What we said

That the 2025 collector-rate tables were the ruling vintage for Palwal district and that FY 2026-27 rates were not published. We had checked the state rate viewer on 17 July 2026, and its period list then ended at 2025. One FAQ answer said the opposite — that FY 2026-27 rates had been in force since 1 April 2026 — without a source.

What the record says

The district's listing on palwal.gov.in, titled "Collectrate Rate FY 2026", links a signed "Final Collector Rates for 2026" document for each of the five registration desks: Palwal, Hodal, Hathin, Hassanpur and Bahin. Each is printed with a system date of 1 April 2026 and signed by the district's revenue officers. None of them states an effective date, so we state none. Nuh district's own documents, "Collector Rate FY 2026", were posted on nuh.gov.in on 21 April 2026.

A second defect surfaced with it: our rows for the Hodal, Hathin, Hassanpur and Bahin registration desks had come from 2025 predictive/committee documents, not signed finals. Those rows are replaced by rows read from the 2026 finals.

What changed

Every rate figure now on the site was read from the signed scans twice — once from the full page, once from an independent high-resolution crop — and is published only where both reads matched. Where a village's row has not been read that way, the page names the document instead of quoting a figure. The pages that changed:

• Circle rates in Palwal for 2026 — rebuilt on the 2026 documents, registration desk by registration desk.
• Circle rate explorer — 2026 rows with each row's 2025 figure and page number.
• Research note HE-R-2026-001 — now v1.1; the v1.0 PDF is withdrawn.
• Palwal property rates, the Palwal, Hathin and Hodal pages, the village pages that quote a rate, the village comparison, and the FAQ answers that stated a vintage.

How we keep it right

District offices notify a new list each year — check palwal.gov.in (or nuh.gov.in for Nuh district) for a list newer than the one this site cites. When a newer list appears, the pages move to it and an entry goes up here.
