Stamp duty & registry cost calculator
The official structure, computed: duty layers per the schedule and the auditor's formulation, registration fee on the real slab ladder — with every consensus figure and open-status surcharge labeled as exactly that.
Purpose, inputs and limits
- What it does
- Estimates the stamp duty and registration fee on a Haryana sale deed from the official duty layers and the fee slab ladder.
- What you enter
- The deed value (the higher of price or collector rate), whether the buyer is a man or a woman, and whether the land is inside municipal limits.
- What it cannot tell you
- It cannot read your parcel's collector row, a Gram Sabha surcharge or an exemption — the e-stamp computation at registration states the actual demand.
Duty computes on the HIGHER of your price or the collector rate for the village and land class — read your row in the rate explorer first. Rates revise; figures verified 17 Jul 2026 against the official schedule. The e-stamp generated through e-GRAS against your deed is the binding number. Collector-rate figures on this site follow the signed 2026 documents; where our earlier figures differed they were corrected 30 Sep 2026, and the ledger says what changed.
Method
Assumptions this tool makes
Which value should I enter?
Why is the joint rate labeled "consensus"?
When does the 1% municipal option apply?
Should I switch the panchayat surcharge on?
What does this total leave out?
