Affected villages
Whose ground does this actually touch?
No sanctioned RRTS touches Palwal district. The SNB corridor's DPR stations run down the Gurugram–Rewari side (Cyber City, Rajiv Chowk, Kherki Daula, Manesar, Panchgaon, Dharuhera, Rewari, Bawal — list in flux between DPR revisions); the Panipat corridor runs north. This district's stake is the plan-identified Delhi–Palwal concept and the Panchgaon interchange the HORC design anticipates.
Implications
How to read RRTS claims on land
The system is real — that is what Meerut proves. Full-corridor operation arrived on 22 February 2026 after a staged opening that began with Sahibabad–Duhai in October 2023, and the trains, headways, and ridership are no longer hypothetical. What remains hypothetical is every kilometre of it in Haryana: the SNB corridor's Board-approved DPR dates to December 2018, Haryana's approvals to 2019 and again to May 2023, and the Union Cabinet sanction that actually starts construction has not arrived as of our verification. Press has projected an August 2026 construction start and a 2031 opening; the projection's own word is "likely", and we quote it as exactly that.
For Palwal specifically, the discipline is stricter, because the claim is thinner: "RRTS to Palwal" exists as one of eight corridors identified in the NCR Planning Board's regional framework — a legitimate planning concept with no DPR, no sanction, no alignment, and no timeline. Land priced on it is priced on the outermost ring of the announcement universe. When the Delhi–Panipat cabinet approval of March 2026 moved that corridor one stage forward, nothing equivalent happened for Palwal; buyers deserve to know the difference between a corridor moving and a corridor mentioned.
What to check before paying a transit premium anywhere in this state: the corridor's exact sanction status (state approval is not central sanction), the revision state of its station list (SNB's has changed between DPRs), and whether the pitch's dates trace to a government document or a news projection. This page carries the graded answers, re-verified each cycle.
